Memorizing does not have to be as hard as basically people make it. The difficulty is that generally people only know how to memorize by reading the same thing over and over again. You have to learn to memorize. A better method would be to create rich, complex associations between the numbers that you can visualize. As Josh Foer, a former U.S.A. Memory Champion explains, you must first turn the numbers into a alphabetical language. From there, isolate chunks of the string of digits into words and start creating a detailed visualization of those words.
