What is Esophageal Cancer?????
An Esophageal means that a muscular tube which is responsible for moving food from the throat to stomach. Esophageal cancer is occurs when a cancerous (malignant) tumor forms in the esophagus lining. When those cancerous tumors grow it can affect the deep tissues and muscle of the esophagus. Those tumor can appear anywhere at the length of the esophagus.

1). Squamous cell carcinoma: – It occurs when the cancer starts in the flat, thin cells which create a lining of esophagus. It is appears in the top or middle of the esophagus and also it can appear anywhere.
2). Adenocarcinoma: – It occurs when cancer starts in the glandular cells of the esophagus that are responsible for production of fluids like mucus. It is generally in lower portion of the esophagus.

It is a most common treatment for cancer of Esophageal. It is known as esophagectomy; in this method remove the part of esophagus during an operation.
It employs drugs to attack cancerous cells. It can be used before or after surgery. Sometimes accompanies the use of radiation therapy. It has a host of side effect. Those side effects will vary depending on the drugs your doctor uses. Chemotherapy has some side effect such as hair loss, nausea and vomiting.
It is treatment which use the high energy x-rays or other types of radiation to kill cancer cells or prevent them from growing. There are two types of radiation therapy which is given below.
1). External Radiation therapy: – uses the machine outside body to send radiation toward cancer.
2). Internal Radiation therapy: – uses the radioactive substance sealed in needles, seeds, wires or catheters which are placed directly into or near the cancer.
It is combination of two treatment chemotherapy therapy and radiation therapy for increase the effects of both treatment.
In this method we use laser beam (a slim beam of powerful light) to kill cancer cells.
Electrocoagulation is the use of an electric current for killing the cancer cell.
