- Superstition Mountains:
Location: East of Phoenix, Arizona.
The superstition Mountains are a mountain range placed east of phoenix, Arizona. It’s off to a great star with its name. The legends and experience of the superstition Mountains can be experienced at the superstition Mountain museum on the Apache Trail where works of art of the Lost Dutchman are on display. As per the legend in 1800s, a German immigrant named Jacob Walts discovered a gold mine inside the mountains but did not discuss the whereabouts of that mine with anyone, until his deathbed, upon which he may or may not have told a single person the secret. It is believed that the mine is protected by creature called Tuar-Tums (“Little People”) that live below the mountains in caves and tunnels. Some Apaches trusted that the entrance to hell is located in the mountains. Now a day, some people have claimed to be shot at while walking in the park. - Dragon’s Triangle (Devil’s Sea):
Location: Pacific Ocean around the Japanese island of miyake, about 100 kilometres south of Tokyo.

- Skeleton Lake:
Location: Uttarakhand, India.
Skeleton lake is known as Roopkund. In 1942 a mysterious discovery was made in Roopkund. 16000 feet above sea level at the foot of a short valley; during the summer months the once frozen lake had begun to melt and the horror that lurked beneath came to the surface. The lake was uncovered and it was filled with over 200 skeletons.
The immediate assumption was that these were the remains of Japanese soldiers who had died of exposure while sneaking through India. The British government, terrified of a Japanese land invasion, sent a team of researchers to determine if this was true. However upon examination they realized these bones were not from Japanese soldiers – they weren’t fresh enough. Isn’t it Mysterious Places?

The hotel de Salto open in 1928 near tequendema falls in Colombia to serve tourists who came to marvel at the 157 meter-tall waterfall. It closed down in the early 90s after waterfall declined. In 2012, however, the site was turned into a museum.
