- Wear a wrist splint when you can’t control the wrist motion such as while sleeping. A splint can keep your wrist in a neutral position.
- Preventing conditions such as arthritis, high blood pressure and diabetes decrease your risk for developing CTS.
- Take good care of your health. This includes maintaining at a healthy weight, not smoking and getting daily exercise.
