Apart from reel superheroes there exist some real heroes who are no less than superheroes – at least as per their deeds. These people go through a lot to set us an example of inspiration but don’t ask a single dime in return.

A bitter TRUTH- NO one gives a damn about them.

In fact, hardly anyone of them are remembered by us. Don’t they even deserve this much??

She is one the  Popular Indian Heroes. She will be remembered as the incredible young woman who made an exceptional sacrifice in order to save the passengers of Pan Am flight that was hijacked on September 5, 1986.Sadly she was dead at the age of 22, right before 25 hours before her 23rd birthday. She was born on 7th September 1963 in Chandigarh, Punjab. Posthumously she became the youngest recipient of India’s highest peacetime military award for bravery, the as Ashok Chakra.  She saved 41 Americans by hiding their passports. Sonam Kapoor is doing her role in the upcoming Bollywood movie titled as ” Neerja.”

You might not have heard about her. Revanna Uma Devi Nagaraj was born on 11th Feb. 1965.She transformed herself from a shy typist to a world billiard champion in 2012.There are very less people who can actually dare to fulfill their dream at the age of 47.she practiced after office hours.

Cueist Arvind savur, the Arjuna award winner became her mentor at KGS club and was later on guided by Jairaj. Uma Devi says, ” it hurts not to get any publicity even after winning the nationals twice. It seemed I was an opera and nobody cared about my job.  Some people even suggested to photocopy the published news reports and distribute them myself.” Now isn’t that sad??

3.DR. RAVINDRA KOELHE

He is the doctor who charges Rs.2 as first consultant fee and Re.1 as second. He lives and runs a clinic in tribal area of Maharashtra called Melghat. While working in Melghat for a year and a half, he realized he wanted more knowledge to deal with the problems of ‘Korku’ tribes. So he went back to medical college to obtain his MD in preventive and social medicine.Koehle says-” when I first came to Melghat, the infant death rate was 200 per 1000 and now it’s 60.He is not just a social doctor but also has once charge government is court for not protecting the Korku people.

4.ARUNIMA SINHA

The proverb ” where there is a will there’s a way perfectly fits in her case. She is a former national level volleyball player and out importantly the first Indian female amputee to climb Mt.Everest. But before this, a very terrible incident took place in her life, on a frightening night of 2011.She was travelling in train when some perverts tried to rob her.  When failed, pushed her out of train. Unfortunately, when she fell, another train was coming from the other track and she lost her lower limbs.

”I touched my thighs and something was missing.  I shouted a lot but there was no one to help me at 1:30 am”- Sinha says. But her disability didn’t hold back her from achieving her goal.She is one the Great Indian Heroes.

5. ARUNACHALAM MURUGANANTHAM

Born in 1962, he is a social entrepreneur from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, India. He is a school dropout from a poor family who has revolunised menstrual health of rural areas by inventing a machine that is used to make cheaper sanitary pads. Her mother neglected him for trying to do something like this.  He was offered millions in exchange of his tech but instead he didn’t sell it out and decided to encourage the women of rural area.

6.MANIK SARKAR

He is also known as ”poorest chief minister in India” but it’s not awkward to him rather it is thankful, he says. He is serving Tripura as cm since 1998.He charges 5000 per month as salary and donated it to his party. Sarkar’s cash in hand and bank deposits count for Rs.16, 120/- during the last election. He has also donated his inherited property. When asked what the secret of his fame is, he said we don’t keep any secrets from people and that’s the secret. Maybe that is why he is also called as cleanest CM.

7.RUKSHANA KAUSAR

Her bravery is hailstones by every woman in the country. She killed Uzafa Shah, a Pakistani wanted let commander, as confirmed by police. Uzafa broke into her house one night and compulsorily demanded food and stay. When her father, who is a farmer, refused to their conditions, they attacked him.

Miss Kausar, at the age of 21 years, then attacked the terrorist, disarmed him and shot him with his own gun-AK47.She has been awarded with national bravery award.

Rajesh Kumar Sharma is a college dropout who owns a grocery store and teaches slum children from poor families. He is Famous Indian Heroes who help to give Education to poor children.He helps them to get admission in government school. The school runs from 9am-2pm.He is also sometimes accompanied by several teachers like Anshul Gupta, Umar Imam and Laxmi Chandra.

He was chosen as one of the 100 most influential people of the world by The Times Magazine in 2010.

He is the founder of barefoot college in village called Tilania, Rajasthan, with the motto to provide marginalized, exploited and impoverished rural poor communities, a guide to self sufficiency and sustainability. He has also made a self dependant system of electricity by solar cells, manufacture it’s own electrical equipment and has its own school and a medical centre.

Makhan Singh, a sporting hero who was once even fears by Milkha Singh is now remains just as a forgotten icon. He used to fly in racing tracks but unfortunately, the things didn’t go well for him.  His family was so poor even to feed themselves properly. He lost one of his legs but was never rewarded. Makhan sing received Arjuna award from President Dr. S Radhakrishnan in 1964.
