Ireland3With the help of Paul Sterling’s 92 runs, Joyce’s 84 runs and Neil’s 79 runs Ireland won the match against West Indies and made first major upset of the Cricket World Cup 2015. With the help of West Indies batsman Simmons’s 89 runs, Darren Sammy’s 102 runs West Indies scored huge 304 runs in 50 over by losing 7 wickets. Ireland achieved the target in 45.5 overs by losing 6 wickets.

West Indies Team had poor start in the inning. They lost big playes Chris Gayle, Marlon Samules at early stage. Dockrell played impressive from Ireland side. He took West Indies’s 4 wickets in the beginning. Because of the west Indies team’s opening was not so good and after that Sammy & Simones 154 runs partnership gave good strength to West Indies inning and score 304 runs.

The fifth match of pool B in ICC World Cup 2015 Ireland won the toss against west Indies and decided to bowl first. Ireland started aggressively against the west Indies.
